When we allow ourselves to exist truly and fully, we sting the world with our vision and challenge it with our own way of being.-Thomas Moore-

Vision

Happiness and well-being are at the core of the personal and academic development and this is the starting point of all my interventions. It is key to build up a relationship of trust, fun and respect with each individual in order to learn about their strengths and difficulties. This can only be achieved by looking at the world through their eyes, so we can better understand how they perceive the world from their own point of view rather than the neurotypical observer.

Autistic behaviours can sometimes be a real challenge but behind every behaviour there is a reason and I strive to find out what that reason is. My goal is to bring sense, purpose and meaning to their world of people on the spectrum based on what is meaningful to the autistic individual.

My aim is not to change the person, but to facilitate the development of their talents and abilities to learn how to deal with their every day life in the most independent way, apply their knowledge in a functional way, develop their communication and social skills and learn to control their sensory and emotional needs to the best of their abilities.

Autism Horizon is not only the scope of understanding, perception and interests that we all have, but also a gaze into an ever changing future full of possibilities and new challenges, a walk through continuous progress.
